The Backsaver CD Combo Dumper is designed to lift and tip heavy, extra-large plastic bins, combo bins, pallet crates, bulk boxes, octabins and other large containers.

With twin hydraulic cylinders and two powerful batteries, the CD can handle loads up to 1,500 kg. The standard execution discharges at approximately 1,400 mm at a 120-degree tipping angle, making it a heavy-duty solution for handling large quantities of product.

Health and enhanced productivity: Heavy-duty handling made easy

The CD is a semi-stationary machine, designed to remain at a specific emptying position while still being movable when required. Containers can be loaded into the machine using a pallet jack or forklift truck.

After placing the container, the load is tipped in a smooth motion until the product starts to come out or further to the maximum set angle. This eliminates the need for manual lifting, crouching and bending when handling large and heavy containers.

Improved process: Perfect for product transfers and discharges

Backsavers are simple, easy-to-use machines that enhance production and reduce the risk of workplace injury. For convenient operation, the CD is equipped with independent controls on both sides of the machine.

The CD can be used to transfer products from one container to another or integrated directly into a process line. Depending on your application, we can also supply a tapered discharge chute, customized retaining bar or a different dumping configuration to improve product flow.

A 100-degree tipping angle is also available, resulting in a higher discharge point of approximately 1,565 mm.

Powerful rechargeable batteries

The two rechargeable batteries allow the CD to be used without a fixed power supply. The batteries are suitable for operation in refrigerated areas and the machine can be plugged in overnight for re-charging.

With fully charged batteries, you can handle approximately 60 tons of products. For stationary applications, we can also supply the CD with a fixed mains-powered connection.

Operational safety: Gravity lowering, light and sound for caution

The CD is driven by twin hydraulic cylinders and for safety, it uses gravity for the lowering movement instead of powered lowering.

An audible backup signal and flashing LED beacon light warn people nearby when the machine is moving. Hold-to-run up- and down-buttons keep the movement under the operator’s control.

Hygiene and food safety

Backsavers are developed especially for the food industry. They are made of stainless steel for easy and hygienic cleaning and are suitable for high-pressure wash-down.

The CD has been engineered, designed and manufactured in the Netherlands since 2010.
