The Backsaver ST Standard mobile bin tipper is designed to lift and tip large plastic bins, tubs or crates at worktable height. It can also be customized to handle different container types, including dough-mixing bowls, barrels and other large containers.

With its mobile design, the ST is a flexible solution for emptying products such as meat, fish, vegetables and other ingredients wherever needed in your production process.

Improved process: Easy handling around the work floor

Backsavers are simple, easy-to-use machines that enhance production and reduce the risk of workplace injury. For convenient operation, the ST is equipped with independent controls on both sides of the machine.

The ST can be used much like a pallet jack: pick up the bin, move it to the required position and smoothly tip the product onto a worktable, processing machine or another part of your production line.

Depending on your product and process, we can supply the ST with a maximum tipping angle of 90, 100 or 110 degrees. Different dumping heights and customized discharge chutes are also available.

Health and enhanced productivity: No strain, more gain

Heavy bins normally require a lot of manual lifting, bending and handling. The ST takes over this movement and brings the product to a comfortable working height.

This reduces the physical strain on operators while making repetitive product handling easier and more efficient throughout the working day.

Powerful rechargeable battery

The ST is powered by a rechargeable battery, so it can be used throughout the work floor without being tied to a fixed power supply.

The battery is suitable for operation in refrigerated areas and the machine can be plugged in overnight for re-charging. With a fully charged battery, you can handle at least 50 tons of products.

Operational safety: Gravity lowering and sound alarm

The ST is driven by a hydraulic cylinder and for safety, it uses gravity for the lowering movement instead of powered lowering. The machine is operated with hold-to-run up- and down-buttons, keeping the movement under the operator’s control.

An audible backup signal warns people nearby when the machine is moving, providing additional attention during operation.

Hygiene and food safety

Backsavers are developed especially for the food industry and are suitable for direct contact with food products. They are made of stainless steel for easy and hygienic cleaning and are suitable for high-pressure wash-down.

We have engineered, designed and manufactured the ST in the Netherlands since the early 1990s. Some of the very first machines are still in use today.
