The Backsaver BRLT Wide Lifter/Tipper is designed to lift and tip wide plastic bins, pallet crates and other large containers when the dumping height of our Backsaver BR is insufficient.
Unlike the LT, the BRLT has a wide frame and is mainly used as a semi-stationary machine. Containers can easily be loaded into the machine using a pallet jack, pallet truck or forklift. The standard BRLT handles loads up to 900 kg and provides a dumping height of approximately 1,280 mm at a 100-degree tipping angle.

Backsavers are simple, easy-to-use machines that enhance production and reduce the risk of workplace injury.
The BRLT first raises the complete bin and then tips it in a smooth movement to empty the product at the required discharge point. This makes it suitable for feeding belt conveyors, hoppers, grinders, separators, tumblers, cutters, injectors, packers or other processing equipment.
For convenient operation, the BRLT is equipped with independent controls on both sides of the machine.
Built around your product and process
The BRLT is normally installed at a specific discharge position, but can still be occasionally relocated when required.
Depending on your process, we can supply maximum tipping angles of 90, 100 or 108 degrees. An extended-stroke lifting cylinder can increase the dumping height up to approximately 1,410 mm and with more adaptations it can even reach bigger heights. A reinforced execution can increase the load rating up to 1,100 kg.
Different discharge chutes, extended or raised chute sides and adjustable or customized retaining bars are also available to suit different containers, product flows and process situations.
Powerful rechargeable battery
The BRLT is powered by a rechargeable battery as standard, allowing the machine to operate without being tied to a fixed power supply.
The battery is suitable for operation in refrigerated areas and the machine can be plugged in overnight for re-charging. With a fully charged battery, you can handle approximately 40 tons of products.
For stationary applications, we can also, optionally, supply the BRLT with mains power instead of battery power.
Operational safety: Gravity lowering, sound and light alarm
The BRLT is driven by twin hydraulic cylinders, one for lifting and one for tipping, and for safety, it uses gravity for the lowering movement.
Hold-to-run up- and down-buttons keep the movement under the operator’s control. An audible backup signal and flashing LED beacon light warn people nearby when the machine is moving.
Hygiene and food safety
Backsavers are developed especially for the food industry. They are made of stainless steel for easy and hygienic cleaning and are suitable for high-pressure wash-down.
The BRLT has been engineered, designed and manufactured in the Netherlands since 2007.
