Backsaver FTD Flexible Trolley Dumper

The Backsaver FTD (Flexible Trolley Dumper) is our most adaptable and innovative tipping solution to date. Designed for food production environments where flexibility is essential, the FTD allows operators to tip standard 200- or 300-liter DIN9797 meat trolleys and eurobins at variable discharge heights – from as low as 100 mm up to 1.8 meters. It also supports any tipping angle, tailored to your process.

Unlike traditional dumpers built for a single fixed height, the FTD is ideal for production setups with multiple equipment levels or changing layouts. Whether you’re unloading into a high-mounted tumbler or onto a low-placed table, the FTD adapts with ease – helping you work smarter, not harder.

As with all Backsaver machines, safety is a priority. The tipping motion is driven by a hydraulic cylinder and lowered by gravity, minimizing injury risk. It includes an audible backup alarm that alerts nearby operators during movement. Independent controls on both sides of the machine make operation simple and efficient from any angle.

Built for hygiene

Constructed entirely from stainless steel, the FTD is safe for direct food contact and can withstand high-pressure cleaning. It’s designed specifically for food-processing plants with high hygiene standards.
