The Backsaver LT Lifter/Tipper is designed to lift and tip large bins when the dumping height of our Backsaver ST is insufficient.

Unlike the ST, the LT first raises the complete bin before starting the tipping movement. The standard machine provides a dumping height of approximately 1,260 mm at a 100-degree tipping angle and handles loads up to 900 kg. When more height or angle is required, we can upgrade the machine to your needs.

Backsavers are simple, easy-to-use machines that enhance production and reduce the risk of workplace injury.

The mobile LT machine functions as a pallet jack, it can pick up a bin and bring it to the required discharge point, but can also remain at a fixed position in your production process.

This makes the LT suitable for feeding equipment such as grinders, separators, tumblers, cutters, injectors and packers, or for discharging onto worktables and elevated platforms.

For convenient operation, the LT is equipped with independent controls on both sides of the machine.

Health and enhanced productivity

After positioning the bin, it is first lifted and then tipped in a smooth motion until the product starts to come out or further to the maximum set angle.

This eliminates repetitive manual lifting, crouching and bending when handling large and heavy bins. Depending on your product and process, we can supply the LT with maximum tipping angles of 90, 100 or even 108 degrees.

Different discharge chutes and retaining bars are also available to adapt the machine to your bin or process.

Powerful rechargeable battery

The LT is powered by a rechargeable battery, allowing it to be used throughout the work floor without being tied to a fixed power supply. The battery is suitable for operation in refrigerated areas and the machine can be plugged in overnight for re-charging. With a fully charged battery, you can handle approximately 40 tons of products.

Operational safety: Gravity lowering, sound and light alarm

The LT uses two hydraulic cylinders: one for lifting and one for tipping. For safety, gravity is used for the lowering movement instead of powered lowering, while hold-to-run up- and down-buttons keep the movement under the operator’s control.

An audible backup signal and flashing LED beacon light warn people nearby when the machine is moving.

Hygiene and food safety

Backsavers are developed especially for the food industry. They are made of stainless steel for easy and hygienic cleaning and are suitable for high-pressure wash-down.

The LT has been engineered, designed and manufactured in the Netherlands since 2007.
