The Nimo-KG C3/C4 Column Dumper is designed to lift and tip standard DIN 9797 200- or 300-liter meat carts, trolleys or buggies to higher discharge points in your production process.
When the dumping height of a Backsaver NT/NTLT is insufficient, the C3/C4 provides a compact solution for emptying trolleys into higher mixers, grinders, conveyors, buffers or hoppers. The C3/C4 range is available with discharge heights from approximately 1150 mm. An adjustable dumping height is also available, allowing the tipping point to be changed over a 500 mm range in steps of 50 mm.
Improved process: Buggy handling at a higher level
Backsavers and Nimo-KG lifts are simple, easy-to-use machines that enhance production and reduce the risk of workplace injury. The trolley is rolled into the lifting frame, securely retained and lifted by pressing the hold-to-run up-button on the column.
The C3/C4 can be easily integrated into your production line. It is fixed as standard, but we can also supply it with a mobile undercarriage. Straight or side tipping, movement on rails and customized lifting frames or discharge chutes are also possible depending on the application.
Fixed power supply
Unlike Backsaver machines, the Nimo-KG C3/C4 is powered by a fixed 400V power supply as standard. This makes it suitable for fixed production positions and frequent use without having to charge or replace batteries.
The power inlet, controls and electrical cabling are integrated into the column, keeping them protected and out of the way.
Operational safety: Hold-to-run up- & down-button
The C3/C4 is driven by an electrical motor in combination with a chain or, optionally, a belt-driven system. Lifting, tipping and lowering are controlled by hold-to-run up- and down-buttons. This requires continuous operator input throughout the complete movement and keeps the movement under the operator’s control.
The trolley is mechanically secured in the lifting frame and an emergency stop is integrated into the control unit. On chain-driven versions, a safety device prevents the lifting frame from falling in the event of a chain failure.
Hygiene and food safety
Like Backsaver machines, the C3/C4 is developed mainly for the food industry. It is made of stainless steel for easy and hygienic cleaning and is suitable for high-pressure wash-down.
The open-column design makes the internal parts easy to access and allows water and dirt to pass through instead of accumulating inside the machine.
C4: For higher configurations
For higher discharge configurations within the Single Column Dumper range, we use the C4 base instead of the C3. Which version is required, depends on the discharge height and the overall machine configuration, allowing us to select the right solution for your process.
