Nimo-KG SKV 300 HA-T Trolley dumper

General description

Nimo-KG tipping device SKV 300 HA-T is used mainly in the food industry in order to tip the standard 200 litre buggy for low tipping heights onto tables, conveyors etc. This tipping device can be manufactured to suit barrels, small containers or other fields of application. It can also be used in other industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, automotive and engineering workshops.
The tipping device is designed to comply with ergonomic demands to avoid elements of risk of injury to personnel and to make production more efficient.

Design and function

The design consists of 2 main parts, main stand and lifting frame. The stand is attached to the bottom frame, which is provided with two fixed and two swivel braked wheels. The lifting frame is pivoted in the stand. In order to have a controlled tipping action, the machine is equipped with a specifically designed chute for each application. The machine is mainly manufactured from fully welded single hollow section.
The container to be tipped is positioned into the lifting brackets, which are bolted to the lifting frame. The operation is controlled by electrical push buttons where the “up”-button is used for tipping and the “down”-button for the return of emptied container. Controls are placed on both sides of the machine.
The tipping device is electro-hydraulically driven and operated by an electric valve. The buttons operate a hold-to-run system. The tipping movement is performed by a double-acting hydraulic cylinder, which is activated by an electric powered hydraulic unit. This is controlled by an electric solenoid valve with twin solenoids, which results in exact tipping- and return velocity.
For safety reasons all driving- and operating functions are fully enclosed and guarded to prevent accidents.

General points

The tipping device is designed according to claims of the food industry authorities and complies with the following CE-norms: 2006/42/EC, 2006/95/EC and 2004/108/EC, as certified in the declaration of conformity, which is enclosed in the CE-documentation.
The tipping device can, at additional cost, be delivered in different configurations like different containers or modifications to fit the machine to your facility.

Technical data

The main parts of the tipping device are manufactured from glassbead blasted stainless steel, AISI 304 (SS2333).
The lifting frame is pivoted on the stand by two bearings made from high density plastic.
The lifting brackets are adjustable in height.
One lifting bracket is equiped wiht a locking system to avoid rolling away of your trolleys.
The bottom frame is provided with wheels of nylon, which are suspended in brackets of stainless steel. Two fixed front wheels (height 90 mm) and two swivel braked rear wheels.
The cylinder is double-acting and just as pipes and fittings manufactured in stainless steel, AISI 304
(SS2333).
All drive- and control equipment are placed under stainless steel covers.

Hydraulic unit

The hydraulic unit is placed on the left hand side of the cylinder, placed in the centre, and is an integrated type, where pump, valve and motor are built together as one unit.
Pump capacity: 2 litres/min at 1000 rpm.
Normal working pressure: 70 bar (Can be changed by an adjustable pressure regulating valve).
Min. oil volume: 1,2 litres.
Oil type: Mobil DTE FM 32, approved to be used in the food industry
Viscosity: cSt @ 40°C = 31,9 cSt @ 100°C = 5,5
Temp. range: -30°C till +70°C.
Valve type: NG6.
